Dead Belt: Solo/Duo RPG for Space Cowboys

Not everyone has the temperament to become a Belter. When the grav cuts out and the lights go off, plenty of people crack. Many more jump at shadows when their flash starts to flicker. Some are too preoccupied with monitoring their O2 levels to see opportunities. But that's not the case for you. If you rely solely on your gear, intelligence, and determination, you can either earn a significant amount of credit among these hulks or perish in the attempt. Either way, you will do it alone. No one is coming to rescue you. No one even knows you're there.

HOW TO PLAY

Dead Belt is played by creating a Belter character and venturing into the Belt to scavenge randomly generated starships using simple materials like a six-sided die, a deck of common playing cards, and a few tokens from around you. With twelve unique ship deck plans, over 100 flavorful prompts, and various character stats to help you avoid certain death, each ship will offer a unique experience. You will board derelict starships, navigate obstacles, evade threats, monitor your air supply, and salvage resources as you progress.

You will face the dangers lurking on these starships, take risks, and eventually return to invest your hard-earned loot in better equipment, skill improvement, debt repayment, and hopefully pave the way to realizing your dreams away from the Belt.

Dead Belt can be played in three ways: Solo, Co-Op, and Rivalry.

In Solo mode, you will truly be on your own, with no assistance available.

Co-Op mode allows you to team up with a friend, giving you the confidence to take greater risks knowing that they have your back. However, be cautious as reckless decisions could jeopardize both of you.

Rivalry mode raises the difficulty level as you and a friend compete against each other, actively sabotaging each other's progress in a race for the valuable rewards hidden on each ship. This mode requires nerves of steel.
